This is one of three community listening sessions being hosted by the Gallatin County Planning Department to allow members of the community to have an opportunity to share their ideas and feedback on zoning reform with the County Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission, Planning Board, and Planning staff. These listening sessions are focused on Gallatin County's planning jurisdiction, which excludes municipalities like Bozeman, Belgrade, Three Forms, Manhattan, and West Yellowstone. Planning staff will give a brief presentation on how zoning and land use planning work in the county, the challenges within the current system, and potential options for reforming, updating, or expanding zoning districts or creating new ones. A moderated public discussion will follow.
