Agenda is attached. There are two significant discussions planned for this meeting. One is on the proposed changes to the Affordable Housing Ordinance (the ordinance that allowed for The Guthrie project). Over the past two weeks, city staff has engaged with the city's advisory boards to get their input on the ordinance. A summary of the proposed changes is attached. If the city does not immediately repeal the current Affordable Housing Ordinance, developers will be able to apply for and potentially gain what is called application "adequacy" on their applications, which means that the current shallow and deep incentives would be available to them to use. Public comment may be submitted here or by emailing [email protected] before 12 p.m. the day of the meeting. If you are unable to attend in person, you may register to participate online via Zoom at https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_gSkgkg6kQuGX4KUaWoZOug#/registration.
